The ETI number is made up of 6 digits beginning 811, found on the details stamped on the I.D plate fitted on the coupling body, BUT ALSO SOMETIMES STAMPED ON TOP OF THE COUPLING On a caravan this may be under the cowling as most caravans are fitted with A-frame cowling, this is normally easily removed by releasing 2 self-tapping screws on front, plus side flange, sometimes underneath where it joins front panel of caravan.
